Apparently the way to overcome this issue is to use *67+First Digit of Area Code+*+Rest of the number.
For example: if the phone number is 416-555-1212 you would then enter this number as follows: *674*16-555-1212
I have not had the occasion to try this method out but others have reported that this does works for Canadian Cell Phone Calls made in/to Montreal and Toronto.

I guess you are one of the lucky ones, wease but remember that what works for one may not work for another and that many never have any real problems while others ......... that's all they have.

Well the solution above don't work for me... I am a sub to Portable Internet from a provider in Toronto. Is there any other work arounds?
Seems cannot call 416 and 647 numbers on the Rogers networks. The other providers work.
