Ladies and Gentlemen, Is anyone one else having as much trouble with MJ late yesterday and today as I am? Hard to describe because of all the different ways in which it is acting up. 1. MJ will just quit softphone disappears. 2. Sound like a call waiting tone only faster and continuous and the call you are in is dropped person on the other end hears elevator music. etc..... etc. Very bizarre and varied behavior. And no I am not talking about normal MJ behavior. ;D

Instead there is a period of silence and then it goes back to a dial tone. As soon as the other party hangs up the calls go through normally. As soon as I realized what was happening I relaxed, MJ usually works things out in a few days and I can live with this one. My "Holman" Thin Client works perfectly so I know it is an external problem. SoCalDad

I'll flip you to see who makes the call (just kidding). I am going to make the call later today and I'll post any result I get , who knows, I may get lucky. Dad

Dad, I was on chat with them for over an hour, they could not fix it and promised to escalate the problem to their 'technical' folks. I could post the entire chat session but it would be a waste of space. The problem still exists and I have no hope they can fix it. After about an hour, they were very insistant that I close the chat session and try again in 4-5 hours if the problem was not fixed. They DID succeed in breaking my voicemail while they were trying to sort the problem. I had to open another session to have it reset. They ARE capable of doing that. Mick

Mick I did not reply because I had the same luck as you did with support. I did get a busy circuit audio signal one time but still no "just plain busy signal". I am just going to wait it out until they fix it because it isn't a "biggie" now that I know what to expect when my call goes back to the dial tone. I'll let you know when and if that happens. It's easy to be patient at 20 bucks a year. Dad
