Newest update version 1.80.4471.3124 is available here:

I am using it but don't know what is supposed to resolve or enhance BUT it doesn't seem to cause any new problems that I know of.
PS - it has been around for a few weeks or so and I just wanted to up date this post and I will try to keep the most current listed here. I personally can't stand not having the latest and greatest.
There is a new MagicJack update and it is available here:
upgrade.talk4free.com/upgrade/20080715000002/upgrade.exe
I do not know how Matt discovered this but I have posed the question to him and will post it here as soon as he replies.
A quote from Matt9876 over at the:
unofficialmagicjack.forum2u.org/viewtopic.php?p=19047#19047
My own findings are that I do not get continual dropped calls to my daughter in the Palm Dale area of CA. anymore (so far).
If you have been experiencing a lot of problems over the last several weeks you might want to give this a try.
Anyone that wants to try it and does not have a copy of the current update you can get it here should you need to return to the old version.

New version: 1.80.4461.3117
Old version: 1.80.4411.3084
Good luck to everyone. I sure hope this takes care of most of my recent problems. For me that has been dropped calls but I think it varies a great deal depending on location.

This is another information quote from MATT9876. It provides a little more insight it to the updates origins and a tuning tweak that I personally have been using for months with great success.
"Discovered on this forum (original Unofficial MagicJack site) in Tech area, looking for garble sound fix for incoming calls.
It's from Dan B's support staff.
My MJ works much better now.
Second part of fix for "garbled" sound problems on XP machine.
Right click on "my computer" then select "Properties".
Click the "Advanced Tab"
You will see a something called "Performance" click on the "Settings" button there.
Now click the "Advanced" Tab in there as well.
Now you will see something called "Processor Scheduling". There check the round button called "Background Services"
Now click "Apply" and then "OK"
Click "OK" again.
Now restart your magicJack and try a couple of calls to see if the quality improves"
Thanks once again Matt9876 very much appreciated. Some folks are not so quick to share their discoveries.
[Addendum] 8-10-08
Well it would appear that this update is not all that myself and others have said it to be. It now appears that some of the positive claims may have been wishful thinking.
I just had the worst phone call I have had with MJ in a very long time (and yes I am using the new update). To my daughter I had dropped calls, dead on one end calls, dialed calls that went directly to dial tone, calls that that did nothing at all and these issues would happen regardless of which one of us did the dialing. It was so bad that the only way to finish my conversation was to switch to my Cell Phone.
So those looking for Utopia, this update may not be the "Yellow Brick Road".
But unfortunately it is Sunday evening and it has been my observation if you want to have MJ problems use it on Sunday evenings. I have a personal subjective opinion that Sunday nights is the time MJ Engineers are given free rein on the MJ servers and such to do their Engineering (did I really use the term engineering). Oh well excuse my jaded view, but sometimes you have to wonder what they are doing and why the Hell it is taking them so long to stabilize the system.
