Yes I know the pictures are still terrible (except for the third one ) but they are still worth a thousand words. This is a Phillips brand device P/N SDJ6013W/17. Dimensions: (standard wall box) 2.5" long X 1.5" wide X 1" tall. Description: Duplex Wall Mount Telephone Box. The beauty of this device is two fold no soldering required and you can get one at your local Wal-Mart. What more could you ask for ( never mind I already know what you are thinking). The resister is 100K Ohm and goes between the Red and Green pair of wires for line one or your primary line. If you are using two lines then add a second resistor between the Black and Yellow wires also. The box should be kept reasonable close to you base unit but it is not critical and I have used anything from 6" to 2' extension from the base unit to the box and it works fine. The 100K resistors can be purchased from Radio Shack. I think I paid about 76 cents for a package of six. Remember no soldering required with this configuration and you can mount it to the back of your desk the wall or the more sophisticated way I do it and that is to just let it dangle down behind my desk, you have to admit that my way has an innate quality and appeal to it. ;D **EDITORS NOTE** This fix is great, but, it is only for those who cannot get any kind of CID. You still have to add names and numbers to the MJ contact list/address book to get names to show up on an attached phone(s). But this fix should then enable those names to show up on your attached phone(s).
